About us: Echad Betokh Mashiach / "One in Messiah" Ministry
Who We are and Statement of Faith and Beliefs
The name of our Ministry, Echad Betokh Mashiach means "One in Messiah".
We derive this name from G-d's word itself.
(NKJV) = New King James Version ………. (CJB) = Complete Jewish Bible.
Ephesians 2:8-16 (NKJV) "8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. 11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands-- 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity."
Ephesians 2:8-16 (CJB) "8 For you have been delivered by grace through trusting, and even this is not your accomplishment but God’s gift. 9 You were not delivered by your own actions; therefore no one should boast. 10 For we are of God’s making, created in union with the Messiah Yeshua for a life of good actions already prepared by God for us to do. 11 Therefore, remember your former state: you Gentiles by birth — called the Uncircumcised by those who, merely because of an operation on their flesh, are called the Circumcised — 12 at that time had no Messiah. You were estranged from the national life of Isra’el. You were foreigners to the covenants embodying God’s promise. You were in this world without hope and without God. 13 But now, you who were once far off have been brought near through the shedding of the Messiah’s blood. 14 For he himself is our shalom — he has made us both one and has broken down the m’chitzah which divided us 15 by destroying in his own body the enmity occasioned by the Torah, with its commands set forth in the form of ordinances. He did this in order to create in union with himself from the two groups a single new humanity and thus make shalom, 16 and in order to reconcile to God both in a single body by being executed on a stake as a criminal and thus in himself killing that enmity."
> We observe the seventh day as Shabbat, in accordance with G-d's word.
> We observe the annual Feasts Days of G-d and some of the traditional Jewish celebrations.
> We recognize and believe the entire Bible as the Word of G-d, divinely inspired to be both the "Old Testament" and the "New Testament", with both still valid and in harmony with each other.
> We strive to live and worship reflecting the truth given to Israel first, confirmed and taught from by our Messiah, our Savior, Yeshua HaMashiach – Jesus Christ the Messiah and His Apostles and Disciples.
> We are a congregation that recognizes the Gifts of the Holy Spirit bestowed by G-d and do however believe and follow the Apostle Paul's correction and directions concerning the Gifts of the Holy Spirit as brought out at 1 Corinthians Chapter 12.
> We are a dedicated community of believers who strive for truth in the Word and "test everything" so as not to compromise with erroneous teachings made into doctrine by men and thus go beyond "playing church".
