Statement of Faith and Beliefs

  • The Scriptures:  The Bible (Tanakh {Old Testament} and the Apostolic Writings {New Testament}) is the inspired and inerrant Word of G-D.  It is the product of holy and faithful men of old who spoke and wrote as directed by G-D and His Holy Spirit.  We believe it in its entirety as our complete, authoritive, infallible guide and instruction as pertains to our life, faith, conduct and doctrine.  We must not take from nor add to G-D's Word.  [2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21; Matthew 5:18]
  • The Father:  We believe the name of G-D is Yahweh and He is One G-D, the one and only true G-D.  He is the Supreme Ruler and Authority over everything, all of creation.  He is to be worshipped and venerated above all.  We are commanded to use His name in complete reverence.  We believe G-D is one in complete unity with the Son and the Holy Spirit.  [Genesis 1:1-24; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:22; Mark 12:29; Revelation 21:1-7]
  • The Son:  We believe Yeshua (his Hebrew name) is the Word as shown in scripture, being with G-D from the beginning.  We believe as shown in scripture, through Yeshua, the Father created all things both Heavenly and Earthly and is sustained by him.  We believe Yeshua was conceived of a virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit and after birth, grew and lived a perfect sinless life.  We believe Yeshua gave up his position in Heaven in order to come to mankind, in the flesh as the divine redemptive Sacrifice to buy mankind back out of sin and death, offering full Salvation according to G-D's plan for us.  We believe Yeshua was raised/resurrected on the third day after his death, ascending to Heaven and the right hand of the Father, Yahweh.  We believe Yeshua as he said himself is the only way to the Father, our mediator and High Priest according the order of Melchizedek.  We believe Yeshua is returning in a different role, bringing G-D's Kingdom back to earth as it is in Heaven, as King and Judge, to cleanse the world of evil, restoring pure true worship and life with G-D.  We believe Yeshua is one in complete unity with the Father and the Holy Spirit.  [John5:43; Acts 4:12; Genesis 1:26; 19:24; Proverbs 8:25; John 1:1-3; 8:58; 13:3; 16:28-30; 1 Corinthians 10:4; Colossians 1:15-17; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; John 17:5; Philippians 2:5-7; 1 Peter 2:22; Isaiah 53:9; Hebrews 9; Matthew 12:40; John 14:6; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Hebrews 3:1; 4:14]
  • The Holy Spirit:  We believe the Holy Spirit is an invisible force, the essence, the mind and the power of G-d, Yahweh, which He directs and uses for His purposes and plans.  This is bestowed on the Son also.  The Holy Spirit is capable of filling a person for G-d's work, being bestowed on those who are baptized in the name of the Father, The Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe the Holy Spirit is one in complete unity with the Father and the Son.  [Luke 24:49; John 15:26; Acts 2:38; 5:32; 8:17; 19:6; 1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6]
  • Baptism:  We believe as directed in scripture, that baptism is a public acknowledgement of the acceptance of Yeshua's Sacrificial Death of atonement for mankind, repentance from a sinful way of life and turning from the sinful way of life.  We also believe that baptism is also symbolic of the washing clean a person for a new start, being born again through the blood of Yeshua HaMashiach.  Baptism, is done by a person who is of the age of accountability, thus, being able to fully comprehend the gravity of their action and decision.  Baptism is accomplished through complete immersion, once, in water with the pronouncement as directed in scripture of being baptized in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  [Matthew 3:13-17; Acts 2:38; 4:12; 8:16; 10:43; 19:5; Romans 6:3; Romans 6:3-6; 7:6; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21; Ephesians 4:5]
  • Gifts of the Holy Spirit:  We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as outlined in scripture.  We do not believe in exalting and idolizing one particular gift above any other as the only sign of Baptism in the Holy Spirit.  We believe the manifestation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit per scripture is not for self edification, to make one feel good, but are manifested for the purposes, plans and glorification of the Father as instructed in scripture.  [Hebrews 2:24; 1 Corinthians chapter 12; 14:33]
  • Feasts of Yahweh/the Father/G-D Almighty:  We choose to observe the Feasts – Appointed Times of G-D in obedience to scripture and to remember the great and miraculous things G-D has done and does do for all believers.  We follow according to most tradition and the manner prescribed for the location and circumstances one finds one self in.  [Leviticus chapter 23]
  • Sabbath:  We honor the Sabbath, the seventh day of the week (ordained by G-D) as a day of rest, worship and fellowship with other believers. [Genesis 2:2-3; Exodus 31:13-17; Acts 16:13; Hebrews 10:25]
  • Body of Messiah:  The Body of Messiah governs all of G-d's people and assemblies.  Through the Holy Spirit, G-D blesses certain people with different gifts according to His purpose and plan, to further the work of spreading the Good News of the Gospel.  [Romans 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 1:10-13; 3:4-9; Chapter 12; Galatians 5:22; Ephesians 4:3-8]
  • As evidenced by the events of today and the rapid fulfillment of prophecy, we believe we are in the last days of the end times.  We believe all believers have to be prepared spiritually first and foremost before any kind of preparation in the natural.  If one is not prepared spiritually, then in the natural preparation will be of no use as that is not what will allow one into the Kingdom of G-D.  We do not advocate any date or time line, for no one knows the day, except the Father.  However with scriptural evidence, we believe Yeshua's return is imminent!  [Genesis thru Revelation]
  • By no means is this a exhaustive list.  We believe we have to be open to the truth as it is revealed by G-D.  We must be willing to change, put away error when revealed, prove or test all things, hold fast to that which is good and to be in the Word daily.  [1 Corinthians 2:11-13; 1 Thessalonians 5:21; Acts 17:11]

About us:    Echad Betokh Mashiach "One in Messiah"  Ministry

Who We are and Statement of Faith and Beliefs

Who We Are

The name of our Ministry, Echad Betokh Mashiach means "One in Messiah".

We derive this name from G-d's word itself.

(NKJV) = New King James Version ………. (CJB) = Complete Jewish Bible.

Ephesians 2:8-16 (NKJV) "8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. 11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands-- 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity."

Ephesians 2:8-16 (CJB) "8 For you have been delivered by grace through trusting, and even this is not your accomplishment but God’s gift. 9 You were not delivered by your own actions; therefore no one should boast. 10 For we are of God’s making, created in union with the Messiah Yeshua for a life of good actions already prepared by God for us to do. 11 Therefore, remember your former state: you Gentiles by birth — called the Uncircumcised by those who, merely because of an operation on their flesh, are called the Circumcised — 12 at that time had no Messiah. You were estranged from the national life of Isra’el. You were foreigners to the covenants embodying God’s promise. You were in this world without hope and without God. 13 But now, you who were once far off have been brought near through the shedding of the Messiah’s blood. 14 For he himself is our shalom — he has made us both one and has broken down the m’chitzah which divided us 15 by destroying in his own body the enmity occasioned by the Torah, with its commands set forth in the form of ordinances. He did this in order to create in union with himself from the two groups a single new humanity and thus make shalom, 16 and in order to reconcile to God both in a single body by being executed on a stake as a criminal and thus in himself killing that enmity."
